About us

A story between France and Mauritius.

Two families brought together in one photograph. HERITAGE was born of that bond — and of the belief that a home deserves the care we owe to a legacy.

The thread

Two families, one island.

Born in Mauritius and adopted in France at eleven months old, Nicolas Ribeyron grew up in France without ever losing the thread to the island he came from.

Found by his birth family as an adult, he has returned to Mauritius regularly ever since. In time, his French and Mauritian families came to meet one another.

Settling in Mauritius today is therefore both a return and a discovery. HERITAGE was born of that double culture.

A standard of service

What key accounts taught him.

Before founding HERITAGE, Nicolas built his career at ENGIE, moving steadily into the management of major accounts — catering, aerospace, commercial property, large-scale retail — with considerable latitude in the client relationship.

His brief: to become a point of contact people could rely on — coordinating colleagues and outside firms, running a dozen providers at once, handling delicate situations, renegotiations and recovery matters, at times running to several million euros. Across the table: boards, finance directors, in-house counsel, solicitors and partners.

That work left him with a particular idea of service: be dependable, hold to the dates given, resolve rather than complicate, and spare the client unpleasant surprises.

Handing over the keys

And leaving at ease.

HERITAGE brings that same standard to something far more personal: your house.

Handing over the keys to a property, sometimes for months or years, is never a small thing. HERITAGE is there to know it, to keep it, to coordinate what needs coordinating, and to let you remain at ease even from a distance.

And where the house lends itself to it, to let it work for you while you are away.

To keep an estate. To let it live. To care for it as for something genuinely entrusted to us.

That is what HERITAGE means.
